INSTALLATION/ARCHITECTUAL

Te Rongo produces large-scale architectural sculptural works for exhibition, public & private commission and currently has three public sculptures on display in Auckland.

The dramatic glass sculpture Te Aho Maumahara – Sacred Strand of Memories hangs in the community foyer of the Devonport Library in Auckland, New Zealand.

Her steel and glass sculpture Te Kaeaea is a Hokioi, a 3.5 metre wingspan Haast eagle form on the entrance wall of Te Manawa, the Westgate library and community centre in Auckland.

In Waitakere, Kirkwood’s Te Whakakitenga  (The Vision) is an integral part of the Twin Streams project. This 7-metre-tall cultural marker created from steel, glass and native timber signifies the relationship between the tangata whenua, the streams, and their surrounding environment.
